Nominate a Peace Builder
The Peace Builder Awards honor individuals, groups, and organizations in Whatcom County who contribute to building peace in a myriad of ways including:
Creatively resolving a conflict
Promoting reconciliation and healing
Building understanding between divergent people or groups
Contributing to increased peace, collaboration, and trust
We seek diverse nominations representative of our entire community. Past nominees have included youth, elders, volunteers and programs from multiple sectors - the arts, education, healthcare, neighborhoods, environment, public service, and more.
Please also note our nomination criteria:
Nominee must live and/or work in Whatcom County
Previous award winners will not be considered

Please respond to the questions thoroughly, providing as much detail as you can. Supporting materials, articles, and statements from others are welcome and may be submitted by email.
Winners will be announced in September, and awards will be presented at the in-person Peace Builder Awards Gala on October 25th.
