Professional Mediation Training
This intensive 40-hour training is designed to develop mediation and conflict resolution skills. This is the first step in becoming a certified mediator.
Family Mediation
This training is a skill-building course in mediating conflicts between separated and divorcing couples. Interested individuals must first complete 36-40 hours of Professional Mediation Training.
Parent-Teen Mediation
This training is a skill-building course in mediating conflicts between teens and their parents or guardians. Interested individuals must first complete 36-40 hours of Professional Mediation Training.
Mediation Practicum
The WDRC Mediation Practicum Program is a WMA approved Practicum Program. Interested individuals must first complete 36-40 hours of Professional Mediation Training.
Parent Education Training
Helping Children Through Family Changes
This is a course required by the court system for any divorcing parent with minor children. This seminar helps parents focus on their children’s needs during separation, divorce, parenting plan development, and other family residential changes.
Managing Conflict as a Co-Parent
This course helps divorced, separated, and never married parents build skills to manage emotions, be heard, communicate effectively, and reduce co-parenting conflicts.
Keep Calm & Parent On
This workshop will provide understanding of adolescent brain development, decision-making processes for teens, how to deal with strong emotions, and tips to resolve conflict.
Conflict Resolution Training
Understanding Conflict
This training teaches participants to listen actively, to understand their response to conflict, and to communicate effectively in high-stress situations.
Tools for Tough Conversations
This training focuses on the application of conflict deescalation and healthy communication skills at home, work, or in the community. This is a continued learning series for past conflict resolution training participants.
